    Position Overview:

    The Burnt Hills-Ballston Lake Central School District is seeking reliable and hardworking individuals to join our team as Substitute Cleaners.

    Responsibilities include:

    + Maintaining a clean, safe, and healthy environment in school buildings

    + Performing general cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and sanitizing surfaces

    + Emptying trash receptacles and replenishing supplies

    + Assisting with setup and cleanup for school events as needed

    Qualifications:

    + Graduation from High School or possession of a High School Equivalency Diploma; OR

    + Three months of building cleaning experience; OR

    + Successful completion of a job training or job readiness program

    + Ability to perform physical tasks associated with cleaning

    + Dependable and punctual

    + Ability to work independently and as part of a team
