    Basic Job Functions:

    Vulcraft Utah is seeking enthusiastic and detail-oriented candidates for the position of 3D Modeler/Joist & Deck Detailer located in office at the Brigham City plant. This full-time, experienced role is responsible for the project coordination and complete development of the 3D model, approval and placement plans, and bills of material according to project specifications and product requirements utilizing a comprehensive 3D modeling program.

     

    + 3D Modeling: Develop electronic models of buildings using advanced drafting software.

    + Interpret Construction Drawings: Read and interpret structural and architectural drawings, specifications, and design requirements.

    + Draft Approval Drawings: Prepare detailed 2D drawings required for customer approvals.

    + Teamwork: Establish and maintain effective working relationships with Teammates and Customers.

    Minimum Qualifications:

    + 2 Years drafting experience in the steel, construction, or manufacturing industry.

    + High school Diploma or Equivalent.

    + Must be seeking full-time employment. No part-time roles available.

    Preferences:

    + Experience operating Tekla Structures software.

    + Experience drafting Steel Joists & Deck.

    + Associates degree or Certification in Drafting.
