Description

Our client, a well-regarded mid-sized law firm, is expanding into the Bay Area with a brand-new Berkeley office. The firm is seeking two Junior Associates to join the team as it grows its presence. With a focus on lemon law and consumer protection, this is a fantastic opportunity for a newly barred or early-career attorney to gain hands-on litigation experience in a supportive environment.

What You’ll Do

+ Handle all aspects of case work, from initial intake through resolution.

+ Draft motions, pleadings, discovery, and settlement documents.

+ Participate in depositions, mediations, and hearings.

+ Conduct legal research and develop case strategies under senior attorney guidance.

+ Work directly with clients, opposing counsel, and the court.

Requirements

+ Active California Bar membership (newly admitted attorneys encouraged to apply).

+ Strong interest in consumer protection and plaintiff-side litigation.

+ Excellent research, writing, and advocacy skills.

+ Ability to work onsite in Berkeley as part of the new office team.
