    Description

    We’re seeking a Senior IT Solutions Architect with deep technical expertise and a passion for designing and implementing complex IT systems across diverse environments. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in hybrid infrastructure, understands enterprise networking and storage, and enjoys working directly with clients in consulting or pre-sales capacities.

     

    + Design and implement IT solutions that span infrastructure, applications, networking, and cloud environments.

    + Lead architecture efforts for client-facing projects, including migrations, integrations, and system rationalizations.

    + Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to deliver scalable, secure, and cost-effective solutions.

    + Translate business requirements into technical designs that meet compliance, performance, and continuity goals.

    + Document existing systems and create architecture diagrams, SOPs, and dependency maps.

    + Support post-merger IT integrations and application rationalization efforts.

    Requirements

    + Prior role as a Solutions Architect, Solutions Engineer, or similar hands-on systems design role.

    + Experience in Managed Services, Consulting, or Customer Success environments.

    + Proven ability to work across multiple IT domains (e.g., infrastructure + applications, cloud + on-prem).

    + Hands-on experience with Windows Server, Linux, and familiarity with Unix/Mac OS.

    + Strong knowledge of Microsoft Azure, AWS, or other IaaS platforms.

    + Deep understanding of enterprise networking (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, routing, switching, wireless).

    + Familiarity with vendors like Cisco, Meraki, Palo Alto, Fortinet, HPE, Juniper, etc.

    + Experience with hypervisors (VMware, Hyper-V, Nutanix) and server hardware (Dell, HPE, SuperMicro).

    + Knowledge of enterprise storage (SAN, NAS, DAS) and protocols (iSCSI, NFS, CIFS).

    + Scripting experience in PowerShell, Python, or Bash.

    + Familiarity with Office 365, Exchange, and Google Workspace.

    + Experience with backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity solutions.

    + Experience with ISO 27001, SOX, or other compliance frameworks.

    + Familiarity with Agile or Waterfall project methodologies.

    + Prior experience working with third-party vendors and integration projects.
