Description

We are looking for a skilled document review Attorneys with fluency in Japanese to join our team on a long-term contract basis. This position involves remote work and focuses on reviewing Japanese-language legal documents to support high-impact litigation cases. Ideal candidates will possess strong analytical skills, legal expertise, and a commitment to confidentiality and accuracy.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct detailed reviews and analyses of Japanese-language legal documents to determine relevance and identify critical information.

• Translate or summarize complex legal and technical content from Japanese into English with precision.

• Utilize legal expertise to support case strategies and ensure accuracy in document review processes.

• Collaborate effectively with litigation teams to maintain consistency in document coding and interpretation.

• Adhere to strict confidentiality standards and meet project-specific deadlines.

• Ensure compliance with protocols and guidelines established for the document review process.

Requirements • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

• Active bar license in good standing with any U.S. jurisdiction.

• Fluency in Japanese, including advanced reading and translation skills.

• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently in a fully remote setting.

• Previous plaintiff-side litigation experience preferred; defense-side experience may result in conflicts.

• Availability to work remotely Monday through Friday on a consistent basis.

• Commitment to dedicating efforts solely to this matter for the duration of the project.
