Job Title: Structural Engineer Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Structural Designer/Engineer to support the design and documentation of building projects from concept through construction. This role involves producing high-quality construction drawings, performing structural analysis and design, and ensuring compliance with client specifications and safety standards.

Responsibilities

+ Develop structural designs, calculations, schematics, and technical documentation.

+ Produce and oversee construction and production drawings.

+ Conduct structural analysis and ensure design accuracy and safety.

+ Review shop drawings, submittals, and respond to RFIs.

+ Collect and incorporate field data into design work.

+ Perform quality assurance and quality control (QA/QC) checks.

+ Maintain organized and accurate design files.

+ Manage projects within defined timelines and budgets.

+ Coordinate with internal teams and external consultants.

+ Adhere to organizational standards, including file management protocols.

Essential Skills

+ Proficiency in Revit software.

+ Experience in structural analysis.

+ Ability to draft and design structures.

+ Possession of an Engineer-in-Training (EIT) or Professional Engineer (PE) certification.

+ Bachelor's degree in Structural Engineering or a related field.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Previous experience at a multi-disciplinary firm offering architecture, civil engineering and land planning, structural engineering, building sciences, and historic preservation is ideal.

Job Type & Location

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $90000.00 - $110000.00/yr.

The benefits package is super desirable. They have the week between Christmas and New Years off. Healthcare is super low cost to the employee.

This is a fully onsite position in York,PA.
