Description We are looking for an experienced Accounting Manager to join our team in Pompano Beach, Florida. In this role, you will oversee critical accounting processes, ensuring accuracy and compliance with financial standards. This is an opportunity to lead a dynamic team while managing essential aspects of construction accounting.

Responsibilities:

• Manage month-end close processes to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.

• Oversee general ledger activities, including reconciliations and journal entries.

• Lead and mentor the accounting team to maintain high performance and foster growth.

• Prepare and review financial statements, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.

• Collaborate with auditors during financial statement audits and provide necessary documentation.

• Handle work-in-progress accounting, maintaining accurate project cost tracking and reporting.

• Analyze and improve accounting processes to enhance operational efficiency.

• Ensure accurate account reconciliations and address discrepancies in a timely manner.

• Provide strategic insights and recommendations to senior management based on financial analysis. Requirements • Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting, with a focus on construction accounting.

• CPA certification is required.

• Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to manage and develop a team effectively.

• Strong expertise in managing general ledger and month-end close activities.

• Proficiency in work-in-progress accounting and project cost tracking.

• Solid understanding of financial statement preparation and audit processes.

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
