Robert Half is partnering with a growing to find a detail-oriented Junior Accountant to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity for recent graduates or early-career professionals looking to build a strong foundation in accounting while gaining hands-on experience!

Key Responsibilities:

+ Assist with accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.

+ Reconcile bank and credit card statements to ensure financial data integrity.

+ Prepare and post journal entries to the general ledger.

+ Help maintain accurate financial records by performing data entry and assisting in month-end and year-end close processes.

+ Support senior accounting staff with special projects and audits as needed.

+ Ensure compliance with company policies and relevant accounting regulations.

Requirements

+ Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. Entry-level candidates with relevant internship experience will be considered.

+ Familiarity with Microsoft Excel (e.g., pivot tables, VLOOKUP) and accounting software

+ Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills.

+ Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a team.

+ Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-moving environment.

Preferred Skills:

+ Experience with reconciliations, accounts payable/receivable, or journal entries (can include internships or coursework).

+ Knowledge of GAAP principles is a plus.

+ Strong communication and problem-solving abilities.
