Description We are looking for a dedicated Staff Accountant to join our team in Delray Beach, Florida. This role involves working in a multi-entity hospitality environment and requires strong accounting skills to manage financial operations effectively. The ideal candidate will thrive in an on-site position and demonstrate expertise in corporate tax, journal entries, and general ledger management.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and review corporate tax returns, ensuring compliance with regulations and accuracy in reporting.

• Manage sales tax filings and maintain up-to-date knowledge of applicable tax laws.

• Record and reconcile journal entries to ensure the integrity of financial data.

• Oversee general ledger activities, including account reconciliation and monthly close processes.

• Collaborate with internal teams to maintain accurate financial records across multiple entities.

• Utilize Oracle Sun systems to streamline accounting processes and enhance reporting efficiency.

• Conduct financial analyses to support business decisions and identify opportunities for improvement.

• Ensure compliance with all accounting standards and practices within the hospitality industry.

• Assist in audits and provide necessary documentation to external auditors.

• Support senior accounting staff with ad hoc financial tasks and projects. Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

• Proven experience in corporate tax preparation and sales tax filings.

• Proficiency in journal entries and general ledger management.

• Familiarity with Infor Sun or similar accounting software.

• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.

• Ability to manage financial operations in a multi-entity environment.

• Excellent organizational and time management abilities.

• Knowledge of hospitality industry accounting practices is a plus.
