    **Job Title:** 2nd Shift Supervisor

    **Location:** Ferndale, NY

    **Schedule:** 2:00 PM – 11:00 PM (may extend later depending on production needs)

    **Salary Range:** $70,000 – $85,000 annually

    **Employment Type:** Full-Time, Direct Hire

    Position Overview:

    We are seeking an experienced and motivated 2nd Shift Supervisor to oversee daily operations in our manufacturing facility. This role is responsible for supervising production staff, ensuring safety and quality standards are met, and driving operational efficiency on the 2nd shift. The ideal candidate will be a hands-on leader who communicates effectively and thrives in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

    Key Responsibilities:

    + Supervise and direct 2nd shift production employees to meet production goals and maintain workflow.

    + Ensure compliance with all company safety, quality, and food/manufacturing standards.

    + Train, coach, and develop team members to maximize performance and efficiency.

    + Monitor production schedules and adjust staffing or resources as needed to meet deadlines.

    + Collaborate with the Operations Manager and Plant Manager to identify and implement process improvements.

    + Maintain accurate records of production, attendance, and performance.

    + Address and resolve issues related to staffing, production, or equipment on shift.

    + Promote a positive, safe, and team-oriented work environment.

    Qualifications:

    + 3–5 years of supervisory or leadership experience in a manufacturing, production, or warehouse environment.

    + Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to manage and motivate a team.

    + Working knowledge of manufacturing processes, safety protocols, and quality standards.

    + Problem-solving skills with the ability to make decisions under pressure.

    + Flexibility to work extended hours as needed.

    + Bachelor’s degree in Business, Operations, or related field preferred (but not required).
