    MKS is seeking a Sr Manager, IT Internal Audit to join our Internal Audit team. This will be a hybrid position, based in our Corporate headquarters located in Andover, MA. This position will report to the VP of Audit. As a Sr Manager, Internal Audit you will be responsible for leading and overseeing the planning, execution, and reporting of IT audits and assessments. This position focuses on ensuring the effectiveness and reliability of the organization’s information systems and controls, while also mitigating IT-related risks and maintaining regulatory compliance and improving operational efficiency.

    You Will Make an Impact By:

    + Participate in the development and implementation of the risk-based internal audit plan, specifically related to the organization’s IT environment and risks.

    + Plan and execute IT audit engagements (e.g., cybersecurity, system development) and participate in other internal audit projects (e.g., operational audits, consulting engagements) and report findings to management and stakeholders.

    + Participate in IT controls testing related to the organization’s annual SOX assessment, which includes collaboration with other internal audit team members (i.e., application controls, SOC report reviews, key report testing) and IT Risk & Compliance team members responsible for IT general controls.

    + Identify and assess IT-related risks across the organization, including cybersecurity, data privacy, IT infrastructure, and business continuity, and recommend appropriate mitigation strategies in close cooperation with the Enterprise Risk Management function.

    + Work closely with various departments across the organization to understand key IT processes and initiatives and provide advisory services on risk and control matters.

    + Communicate audit progress and findings and recommendations to senior management in a clear and concise manner.

    Skills You Bring:

    + Bachelor's degree in information technology, computer science, finance, business administration, or a related field. Master’s degree preferred.

    + 10+ years of IT audit experience. Some level of financial audit experience (external or internal) would be a plus. Big 4 experience a plus.

    + Proven experience leading and executing audits and risk assessments from planning to reporting.

    + Professional certification such as CIA, CISA, CISM, CRISC, CISSP, CPA, CA required.

    + Strong understanding of IT control frameworks (e.g., COBIT, NIST, ITIL), regulatory requirements (e.g., SOX, GDPR), and network security principles (i.e., firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems (IDS/IPS), and VPNs).

    + Knowledge of IT audit tools, data analytics software, and experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle), cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure) and their associated control environments is a strong plus.

    + Excellent leadership, communication, critical thinking and collaboration skills.

    + Ability and willingness to work independently and manage multiple audit projects simultaneously.

    Physical Demands & Working Conditions:

    + Perform activities such as sitting, standing, or typing for extended periods of time

    + Must be able to communicate information and ideas so others will understand

    + Must be able to exchange accurate information

    + The ability to observe documents and details at close range (within a few feet of the observer)

    + Operates in a professional office environment

    + Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery

    + Ability to travel to MKS locations globally (up to approx. 20%)

     

    This position is Hybrid and must be within commutable distance to our location in Andover MA. Relocation benefits are not available for this position.
