    Job Title: Receiving Associate Job Description

     

    The Receiving & Specification Check Specialist plays a crucial role in managing daily receiving reports, verifying material specifications, and updating inventory systems. This position ensures that all incoming materials meet required standards and are accurately documented and stored. The Specialist also provides support to team members dealing with urgent or specification-related issues and is occasionally on-call for emergency needs.

    Responsibilities

    + Run receiving reports using the E1 system.

    + Perform specification checks on all received materials in the warehouse.

    + Transfer data to the floor side of the EDI report.

    + Update coil status and location in the E1 system.

    + Investigate and resolve issues arising from the daily '8' spec hold report.

    + Assist team members with specification-related and urgent items.

    + Provide on-call support for emergency situations.

    Essential Skills

    + 1+ year of relevant experience.

    + Attention to detail.

    + Strong reading, writing, and math skills.

    + Problem-solving abilities.

    + Computer proficiency.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Experience in shipping and receiving.

    + Inventory control and cycle counts.

    + Proficiency in data entry and inventory management.

    + Experience using RF scanners.

    + Material handling capabilities.

    Work Environment

    The role is based in a manufacturing/office setting with work hours from Monday to Friday, 4:15 PM to 1 AM. The position requires the ability to stand and walk between facilities.     This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Georgetown, Kentucky.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $19.25/hr.
