Position Overview
Fallon Medica, an IQVIA business, is a leading scientific communications company that spearheads scientific content marketing campaigns for bio-pharmaceutical products in the specialty and rare disease therapeutic areas. We are currently seeking an Account Services Director to join our team as a senior leader across multiple accounts for Pharma Marketing & Corporate clientele. As an extension of the Senior Vice President, Account Services/Operations, the Group Account Director will oversee various accounts, ensuring all requests, projects and deadlines are met/completed and uninterrupted. Within this position, the Group Account Director is responsible for driving business growth, while overseeing the account management of multiple medical communications projects.
These responsibilities entail the facilitation of a multidisciplinary project team, interfacing with support services within the company, meeting customer and management expectations, establishing strong client and faculty relationships to provide project strategy, and ensuring that programs remain on target and within agreed-upon parameters (budget & scope).
As Group Account Director, you will have intimate knowledge of therapeutic area, business/brand plan, annual budget & SOW development. The Group Account Director will serve as a primary point for clientele in budget development, as well as quarterly invoicing schedule & cost phasing. The Group Account Director will also serve as a primary point for Sourcing & Procurement, as it relates to scope & purchase orders for various medical communications initiatives.
In order to perform these functions, the Group Account Director must have strong verbal and written communication skills. He/she must also be highly organized, and have experience leading a multidisciplinary team. The Group Account Director must be adept at multitasking and prioritizing activities, have strong management skills, and be able/eager to motivate others while maintaining a level head in high-pressure situations.
Primary Responsibilities
+ Accessibility to stakeholders partnering on strategic initiatives, project/financial management, and communications with client stakeholders.
+ Support (as needed) on status calls with internal and external stakeholders.
+ Business growth
+ Oversight of revenue recognition
+ Develop strategy & oversee implementation of various SS&C initiatives such as:
+ Slide Decks
+ Speaker Trainings: Live & Web Based
+ Conferences
+ Advisory Boards
+ KOL Consulting Engagements
+ Symposia & Product Theaters
+ Speaker Bureau Expansion Programs
+ Budget and SOW development, as well as monthly/quarterly invoicing, as directed.
+ Partner with client stakeholders to develop and monitor budget forecast.
+ Identify and communicate relevant and meaningful insights around projects throughout project lifecycle.
+ Ideate insight driven solutions that may provide opportunities for value added services and organic growth.
+ Manage timely and professional written and verbal communications with internal and external parties.
+ Ensure customer expectations are met at all levels of project activity.
+ Establish and maintain knowledge of relevant healthcare products, disease states, and medical communications.
+ Provide guidance to managerial team on the development of all projects related communications and websites.

+ FM policies and procedures
+ Reviewing material before delivery to client
+ Consulting with clients, KOLs and internal teams
+ Monitoring financial close outs, both internally and externally with client aggregate spending systems and/or reporting
+ Onsite support to client(s), speaker and patient(s), ensuring program is executed successfully.
Qualifications & Software/Technology
+ Minimum of 5 years of relevant Account Management experience in the healthcare communications space is required.
+ Able/eager to motivate others while maintaining a level head in high pressure situations.
+ Well-developed skills in prioritizing, organizing, decision making, time management, and verbal/written communication.
+ A resolute and autonomous work ethic and accessibility for after-hours and/or offsite support
+ Knowledge of PhRMA code guidelines and Sunshine Act
+ High proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, required – Excel, Word, PowerPoint
+ Understanding of pharmaceutical Medical, Legal, Regulatory review processes for product promotional assets
+ Experience in industry specific software such as: Veeva Vault, Veeva Events Management, Adobe E-Sign, CVENT, and Virtual Meeting Platforms
Education Requirements
+ A bachelor’s degree or equivalent education and/or work experience
Travel Requirements
+ Ability to travel a minimum of twelve times a year to various parts of the United States (including weekends), to support meetings.
+ Live quarterly business reviews (max of 4), taking place in California may be requested by clients.
+ The majority of travel will require air/flight(s).

The potential base pay range for this role, when annualized, is $127,700.00 - $355,400.00. The actual base pay offered may vary based on a number of factors including job-related qualifications such as knowledge, skills, education, and experience; location; and/or schedule (full or part-time). Dependent on the position offered, incentive plans, bonuses, and/or other forms of compensation may be offered, in addition to a range of health and welfare and/or other benefits.
