    As an SLPA, you’ll work under the supervision of a licensedSpeech Language Pathologist to deliver high-quality speech and languageservices to students. Your role will include clinical support, documentation,and direct treatment activities—all within the scope of care outlined by thesupervising SLP and/or physician.

     
     

    $40–$45/hour (based on experience)

     
     

    + Assist in implementing speech and language therapy plans

    + Support students in achieving communication goals

    + Document progress and maintain accurate records

    + Collaborate with SLPs, educators, and other school staff

    + Maintain compliance with professional standards and regulations

    ? Minimum Requirements:

    + Associate’s degree from an SLPA program or bachelor’s degree in speech-language pathology or communication disorders

    + Completion of 100+ hours of supervised fieldwork or equivalent clinical experience

    + Current SLPA certification/licensure in the state of California

    + Familiarity with professional standards of practice

    + One (1) year of SLPA experience preferred

    + TB screening (PPD or chest x-ray, if applicable)

    + Current health certificate (as required by contract or state)

    + Must meet all federal, state, and local requirements

    + Must be at least 18 years old
