    Salary: $1246 / Week

    Corrections Registered Nurse (RN) – Hastings, MN

    We’re hiring an experienced Corrections RN to join a dedicated team in Hastings, MN, providing care to an adult population of 260 in a secure facility. This is a great opportunity for nurses with a background in correctional health who are ready to make a meaningful impact.

    Position Details:

    + Start Date: ASAP

    + Assignment Length: 13 weeks

    + Schedule: 36 hours/week

    + Shift: 12-hour NOC shift, 5:00 PM – 5:30 AM

    + Block Schedule: Includes every other weekend

    + Experience Required: Minimum 1 year of correctional health experience

    Compensation:

    + Local Candidates: $53/hour

    + Travel Candidates (50+ miles from facility): $2,218/week

     

    The Correctional RN works in collaboration with otherhealthcare professionals, correctional officers, and administrators to ensurethe well-being of the incarcerated population. The Correctional RN utilizes their knowledge to address the specificchallenges and limitations of the correctional environment while providing careto their patient population. This careincludes both routine and emergency health care in a correctional facilitysetting.

    Minimum Requirements:

    + Current Registered Nurse License for the state in which thenurse practices

    + Minimum of one year of correctional health care experiencepreferred

    + Current CPR if applicable

    + TB Questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable

    + Must meet all federal, state and local requirements

    + Must be at least 18 years of age
