Job Overview:
The Project Coordinator reports to the Site Manager in support of the Decontamination and Decommissioning (D&D) efforts on the Naval Reactor Facilities at the Knolls Atomic Power Laboratory in Niskayuna, New York; the Kesselring Site in West Milton, New York; and the Bettis Atomic Power Laboratory in West Mifflin, Pennsylvania.
This position responsible for formulating schedules and coordinating task priorities as established by the customer. This individual must work closely as a team member with Project Management, Radiological Controls Supervisors, Operations Supervisors to support a consistent approach to the planning and performance of project managed work.
Key Responsibilities:
+ Support Program Manager and Project Managers in the execution and administration of the Program.
+ Assist in the preparation and submission of administrative program documents such as monthly and weekly reports and other program deliverables.
+ Assist with the organization and management of work packages, technical documentation, and other program records.
+ Track operational status to support project controls in project tracking and accounting.
+ Coordinate the activities of procurement, logistics, waste management, and human resource personnel to support program requirements.
+ Assist with customer service, responding to DOE comments and inquiries, and representing the program in a customer-facing role.
Basic Qualifications:
+ This position requires 10 years of experience in the field demonstrating increased levels of responsibility on large, complex projects involving radioactive and/or hazardous waste generation and disposal.
+ Prior Naval Reactors site experience is strongly preferred.
+ Must be a US Citizen; no dual citizenship.
+ Must be able to obtain and maintain a DOE "L" Security Clearance.

As of the date of this posting, a good faith estimate of the current pay range for this position is $96,000 - $115,000 per Year. Compensation depends on several factors including: experience, education, key skills, geographic location of the position, client requirements, external market competitiveness, and internal equity among other employees within APTIM.
