    Job Summary

    The Division of Anatomical Sciences invites applications for a one-year position focused on anatomy education across multiple health science programs, with primary emphasis on medical, dental, physician assistant (PA), and physical therapy (PT) students. The successful candidate will engage in cadaver-based laboratory instruction, small group facilitation, and classroom teaching, as well as participate in prosection, dissection, and laboratory maintenance projects.

    Key Responsibilities:

    Lead the following teaching sessions:

    + Phase 3 medical student laboratories, including Brain and Behavior and Advanced Surgery courses

    + Resident training in anatomy for anesthesia (monthly) and ENT (one/year)

    Participate in teaching anatomy to:

    + Medical students (first and third year courses)

    + Dental students (laboratory sessions)

    + PA students (lectures and labs)

    + PT students (lectures, distance learning, and labs)

     

    Participate in weekly teaching assistant (TA) training meetings

     

    Produce high-quality cadaver prosections for use in teaching and assessment

     

    Contribute to the Anatomy Certificate Program as needed

     

    Support laboratory upkeep

    Minimum Qualifications

    Qualifications

    A post-graduate degree

     

    Demonstrated expertise in human anatomy, including substantial experience in cadaveric dissection

     

    Experience in related anatomical sciences (histology, embryology, neuroanatomy, etc.) is desirable

     

    Strong organizational skills and ability to work effectively as part of a team
