JOB SUMMARY:

+ Deliver health services to clients who are experiencing mental and physical conditions associated with mental illness.

+ Utilizes the nursing process documentation and communication skills to collaborate with physicians and other team members.

+ Provides nursing concepts and care plans to clients.

+ Provides health education training as assigned, administration of medication, collecting samples for testing, monitoring, food & liquid input/output, preparing Injections/enemas, providing patient hygiene, taking vital signs.

+ Cooperates with the licensee and Department of Human Services and staff in any inspection, inquiry or investigation.

+ Performs other duties as deemed appropriate or needed by the supervisor.

EDUCATION, KNOWLEDGE, SKILL & ABILITY:

+ Degree from an accredited school of nursing.

+ Valid New Jersey Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN).

+ Experience in the field of behavioral health is preferred.

+ Current CPR/FA certificate.

+ Must be at least 21 years old.

+ Must be able to successfully complete a physical, drug screen and background check.

+ Valid driver’s license in state of residence with a good driving record.

SALARY:

+ $29.80 to $32.00 per hour based on experience.
