About the Role: PRN Speech Language Pathologist

As a **PRN Speech Language Pathologist** , you’ll play a key role in supporting the health, happiness, and daily experience of the residents at Wesley at Home.

As a PRN Speech Language Pathologist, you will:

+ **Comprehensive Patient Evaluation** : Assess speech, language, cognitive-communication, and swallowing abilities in the home setting.

+ **Personalized Therapy Planning** : Create tailored treatment plans based on assessments and patient goals, addressing speech, language, cognition, and swallowing.

+ **Evidence-Based Intervention Delivery** : Implement targeted therapy techniques to improve communication and swallowing functions.

+ **Education and Collaboration** : Educate patients and caregivers on supportive strategies, and coordinate care with interdisciplinary healthcare teams for optimal outcomes.

Openings:

+ PRN, as needed basis

Qualifications:

+ Valid Iowa driver’s license

+ Current vehicle insurance

+ Currently licensed as a Speech Therapist in the state of Iowa

+ Graduate of an accredited speech-language pathology master’s program

+ Previous home health or direct patient care experience preferred

Qualifications

Education

Required

+ Masters or better in Speech-Language Pathology

Experience

Required

+ Previous home health or direct patient care experience preferred.

+ Certified by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association, or ASHA

+ Graduate of an accredited speech-language pathology master’s program.

+ 2 years: Currently licensed as a Speech Therapist in the state of Iowa
