About the Role

As a Transaction Processing Associate on the claims team, you will enter claim information into our system, ensuring data integrity and timely processing.

Hours:

8:00AM- 4:30 PM; Monday through Friday with the possibility of flexible hours

As a Transaction Processing Associate, you will be responsible for:

+ Accurately input claim data into claims processing systems

+ Transcribes routine pre-coded and identifiable alphanumeric data from source document into an automated system.

+ Ensures accuracy and completeness of data/assigned work.

+ Identify and flag incomplete or incorrect information for follow-up

+ Maintain high productivity while meeting quality standards

+ Follow established procedures and guidelines for claim submissions

+ Communicate with team members or supervisors about any issues or discrepancies

+ Handle confidential information with integrity and discretion

+ Comply with data integrity and security policies

+ Perform other clerical or administrative tasks as needed

Required:

+ Be at least 18 years of age with a high school diploma or an equivalent level of education

Preferred Qualifications:

+ Basic computer skills and familiarity with Microsoft

+ Ability to use PC, 10 key, calculator, and/or data entry programs

+ Have prior office or administrative experience

+ Have an ability to communicate clearly and professionally with co-workers, clients, and providers

+ Have attention to detail, grammar, and spelling accuracy skill set

+ Have legal authorization to work permanently in the United States without requiring a visa transfer or visa sponsorship

+ Be able to successfully pass a pre-employment screening and drug test

+ **Experience with claims management systems or HER platforms is preferred**

+ **Knowledge of healthcare or insurance terminology is preferred**

For this position, actual salaries will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. In addition to base pay, this position, based on business need, may be eligible for a bonus or incentive. The estimated hourly rate for this role is $16.00 per hour
