    Job Title: Summer 2026 Global Quality Intern

     

    Summary:As a Quality Engineering Intern, you will drive data-driven quality improvements across sites. You will support the implementation of Statistical Quality Control (SQC) and Statistical Process Control (SPC) tools. You will also lead real-world projects in defect analysis, process optimization, and compliance, gaining hands-on experience in quality systems, continuous improvement, and global operations.

    Responsibilities Include:

    + Build out SQC data packets to enable global Quality Forward Look and Quality Risk Assessment Processes.

    + Participate in these events as timing permits

    + Lead one cross site QFL as timing permits

    + Develop product specification comparisons for global products and lead alignment discussions.

    + Partner with Quality and Operations teams to identify products and test methods that are opportunities for Continuous Improvement (CI) projects and lead projects as needed.

    + Partner with Product Stewardship to identify products and data that are required for regulatory compliance

    + Present project outcomes to site leadership and global Quality organization.

    + Become White Belt certified through project work and required training.

    Qualifications:

    The following are required for the role

    + Pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree in a technical field such as Chemistry, Engineering, Physics, Mathematics or Statistics

    + Knowledge of Basic statistics and/or successful completion of university-level mathematics courses

    + Computer skills including Excel and PowerPoint. Minitab or other statistical analysis tool preferred.

    + Attention to detail – ability to document new processes and procedures.

    + Self-starter – Proactively identify new opportunities to drive efficiencies in Quality and Service at Friendly, WV site

    + Prior experience training or teaching technical topics to small groups considered a plus.

    + Must have reliable transportation to and from the site

    Program Qualifications:

    + The candidate must be actively enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program at the time of application and for at least one semester following the conclusion of the internship.

    + The candidate is expected to be available 40 hours a week for a period of 10-12 weeks between the months of May and August.

     

    What We Offer:Base Pay Range: $22.00 - $26.00
