Job Title: Summer 2026 Analytical Chemistry Intern

Summary:As an Analytical Chemistry Intern, you will contribute to innovative research projects that enhance analytical capabilities and support sustainable product development. You will gain hands-on experience with advanced instrumentation, automate data analysis workflows, and help expand lab techniques—building valuable skills in spectroscopy, NMR, and method development.

Responsibilities Include:

Mass spectral Library update

The intern will be responsible for continuing updating the Mass Spectral Library independently after a brief training by mentor. This task will last 2-3 weeks.

Open access lab technique expansion

The intern will be responsible for further developing a few more wet chemistry methods in the open access lab. This will include selecting published methods, testing the method for MPM samples, documenting the method in SOP, and preparing demo videos.

NMR analysis automation

This is a new research and development area, it will involve setting up data processing automation by combining GLIMS and Mnuva software.

Qualifications:

The following are required for the role

+ Pursuing a Bachelors degree in Chemistry or a related technical discipline

Program Qualifications:

+ The candidate must be actively enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program at the time of application and for at least one semester following the conclusion of the internship.

+ The candidate is expected to be available 40 hours a week for a period of 10-12 weeks between the months of May and August.

What We Offer:Base Pay Range: $22.00 - $26.00
