    Assistant Coach Tennis

    JobDescription:

    WeareseekingadedicatedandexperiencedPart-TimeAssistantCollegeCoachtojoinourteam.

     

    Thisroleinvolvessupportingtheheadcoachinfosteringapositive,competitiveenvironment

     

    whileensuringthehealthandsafetyofathletes.Theidealcandidatewillhavepriorcoaching

     

    experience,strongleadershipskills,andapassionforstudent-athletedevelopment.Theassistant

     

    coachassiststheheadcoachinrunningasuccessfulvarsityprogramwhichcompetesasa

     

    NationalJuniorCollegeAthleticAssociation(NJCAA)DivisionIIIprogramandasamemberof

     

    theGeorgiaCollegiateAthleticAssociation(GCAA).Thismainlyincludesrecruitingstudent-

     

    athletes,practiceandcompetitioncoaching,designandimplementationofcompetitivestrategies

     

    andadvisingandmentoringourstudent-athletes.Theassistantmustunderstandandpromotethe

     

    mission,goals,valuesandeducationalidealsofOxfordCollegeofEmoryUniversity.

    KeyResponsibilities:

    •Ensure the health, safety, and well-being of athletes on and off thecourt.

    •Foster a community of healthy competition and sportsmanship among athletes.

    •Plan and implement effective and engaging practice sessions.

    •Assist with team management and logistics.

    •Maintain open communication with athletes, coaches, and staff.

    Qualifications:

    •Previous coaching experience required.

    •Ability to pass a driving and criminal background check.

    •Availability for nights and weekends, August throughMay.

    •Strong organizational and communication skills.

    •Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse group of student-athletes and

     

    professional staff.

     

    Thisisapart-timepositionwithflexiblehoursoutsideofpracticeandgameschedules.Ifyouare
