    *How you’ll contribute*

    A Clinical Assoicatewho excels in this role:

    * Receptionists: answer phone calls in a timely manner, greet and direct visitors.

    * Establish positive relationships with patient/families/visitors and all members of the healthcare team.

    * Report concerns accurately and concisely to appropriate care team member.

    * Greet physicians and assist in directing to assigned nurse.

    * Maintain patient’s thin folder.

    * Organize and maintain work environment.

    * Conemaugh Connect – my chart; assist patient initial setup.

    * Follow standard precautions using personal protective equipment as required for patient care.

    * Perform secretarial and technical skills required to meet unit specific requirements.

    * Maintain proficiency required for Conemaugh Connect powered by Epic.

    * Provide Conemaugh Connect Epic support for physicians and extenders.

    * Maintain confidentiality of allpatient, hospital and employee related information.

    * Perform hand hygiene.

    * Consider factors related to safety, effectiveness, and cost for delivery of patient care.

    * Assist member of the health care team with assigned tasks that support patient care.

    * Actively participate in patient engagement initiatives.

    * Attend and participate in staff meetings and reviews meeting minutes.

    * Maintains positive interactions with staff on other nursing unitsanddiagnostic testing areas.

    * Complete required CPR training.

    * Complete annual competencies/required education.

    * Attend annual CEP.

    * Complete annual suicide education.

    * Complete monthly in the know newsletters.

    * Participate in performance improvement hospital based andunit-basedactivities as directed.

    * Complete audits and AMP tracers as directed by the Nurse Manager.

    * Perform basic patient care needs.

    * Complete category 1 and 2 OSHA compliance.
