BayCare's staffing resource office is currently in search of experienced ER nurses who are passionate about providing outstanding customer service to our community.

Positions details- Full-Time Core Float Pool ER

+ **Location:** Region 1 includes St Anthony's, Morton Plant, Mease Dunedin, Mease Countryside & Morton Plant Northbay Hospitals.

+ **Status:** Full Time-Non-Exempt

+ **Shift:** 6:45AM - 7:15PM

+ Every 3rd Saturday and Sunday, in addition two Fridays in 6-week schedule. Holiday bundle requirement

+ **On Call:** No

+ Always in person

+ Float Pay differential

The Registered Nurse – ER responsibilities and skills:

+ Works in a hospital setting and independently cares for a group of patients consistently using the nursing process and clinical standards.

+ Delegates appropriate patient care activities to other members of the health care team

+ Care for patients throughout their recovery in critical care.

+ Monitor, record, and update care team on patient vitals and assessments.

+ Identifying sudden or subtle changes in a patient’s medical condition

+ Responding to medical emergencies for critical patients

+ Coordinates and documents appropriate discharge planning and referrals to ensure continuity of care after discharge.

+ High emotional intelligence to create a positive patient care experience that includes simplifying medical terminology and concepts to the patient.

+ Professional accountability and development

Requirements:

+ RN (Registered Nurse) License

+ Diploma, Associate’s, Bachelor's or Higher in Nursing

+ 2-year experience of ER in a hospital setting

+ Strongly prefers 4-years ER RN experience

+ BLS certification American Red Cross or the American Heart Association

+ ACLS certification with the American Heart Association

+ PALS certification with the American Heart Association
