The Trust and Custody Operations Training Specialist is a part of the Trust & Custody Operations department which provides operational support to UMB's fast-growing Corporate Trust & Custody divisions. Within the Trust & Custody Operations environment, this team interacts with various UMB clients and internal partners to evaluate and process requests for the onboarding of new business, process payment transactions, and other duties as assigned. With our robust training to provide extensive UMB and financial knowledge, the Trust & Custody Operations department provides a high level of service to our internal & external partners.
As a Training Specialist, you will be responsible for the creation and delivery of the training program for the Corporate Trust & Institutional Custody Operations associates within UMB. This role is responsible for the training of all new operations associates as well as training for existing associates as needed. You will leverage multiple delivery methods including classroom (instructor-led), online (web-based), and train-the-trainer methods. You will not only facilitate the training but also produce the associated training materials and ensure accessibility to the team.
The Trust & Custody Operations team is about creating strong connections amongst its associates to develop and maintain a positive working experience. Associates are supported and encouraged to work with their manager to develop roadmaps for opportunity within Operations and beyond.
_How you’ll spend your time:_
+ You will be responsible for the design & delivery of training and provide support to ensure that the Operations associates have a thorough knowledge of the suite of tools available.
+ You will partner with management, internal partners, and external vendors as needed for training facilitation.
+ You will use your collaboration skills to partner and serve as a resource for the Trust & Custody Operations department.
+ You will create and publish the curriculum and the skills development roadmap.

+ You possess a Bachelor’s Degree in finance, accounting, or a related field; or equivalent work experience.
+ You have a minimum of two (2) years’ experience in the financial services industry.
+ You have one (1) years of training or facilitation experience.
Compensation Range:
$44,790.00 - $86,510.00
