    EVS Floor Technician

    **Schedule:** Day – 7:00 am – 3:30 pm with every other weekend commitment

    **Location:** Darby, PA

    **Department:** Environmental Services

    **Reports to:** Manager Operations, Environmental Services

    Position Purpose:

    Mercy Fitzgerald Hospital, a member of Trinity Health Mid-Atlantic, is looking for a full-time EVS Floor Tech to join our Environmental Services Team!

    What You Will Do:

    + Responsible for all floor care work including routine mopping (dry and damp) buffing, waxing and burnishing all hard surfaces.

    + Provides floor maintenance; including but not limited to vacuuming, shampooing and extracting carpets, stairwells and upholstery.

    + Performs preventive maintenance checks on all equipment prior to use and at the end of shift.

    + Provides other cleaning services such as dusting, routine restroom, offices, halls and classrooms or other duties as assigned.

    + Follow all safety requirements and procedures at all times.

    + Required to work holidays as needed.

    Minimum Qualifications:

    + HS Diploma or equivalency (preferred)

    + 1-3 years floor care experience
