Marine Field Service Technician

**Location:** Fort Lauderdale, FL

**Schedule:** Full-Time, Monday–Friday 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (weekend availability as needed)

**Salary:** $70,000 – $80,000/year + benefits

We are seeking a **Marine Field Service Technician** to perform repairs, maintenance, and installations across a wide range of systems, including electrical, hydraulic, propulsion, air conditioning, and mechanical systems. This is a hands-on role requiring technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and attention to detail.

What You’ll Do:

+ Perform preventive maintenance, repairs, and installations on marine systems (AC/DC electrical, hydraulics, propulsion, air conditioning, structural, and mechanical).

+ Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical and electrical issues using diagnostic tools and technical manuals.

+ Read and interpret schematics and technical drawings.

+ Maintain detailed records of maintenance, repairs, and parts inventory.

+ Collaborate with subcontractors, marinas, and vendors to ensure work quality and timelines.

+ Travel domestically and internationally as required.

Requirements:

+ Associate or technical degree in a related field.

+ Proven hands-on experience with marine systems and vessel repair/refit.

+ Strong mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic troubleshooting skills.

+ Ability to read schematics and technical drawings.

+ Professional proficiency in Spanish and Italian is highly preferred.

+ Valid driver’s license.

+ Excellent communication and customer service skills.

+ Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks, and maintain high-quality standards.

+ Proficiency with Microsoft Office and email communication.
