As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a commercial real estate location, you will play a key role in helping to deter security-related incidents by conducting routine patrols and maintaining a visible presence throughout the property. Your responsibilities will include monitoring assigned areas, interacting with tenants and visitors, and providing outstanding customer service and communication. This is a driving post, so a valid driver's license is required as you will be responsible for patrolling the premises by vehicle and/or on foot. What You’ll Do:

+ Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites

+ Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education

+ Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams

+ Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service

+ Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

+ Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as responding to emergency situations when appropriate.

+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.

+ Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the commercial property and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.

+ Observe and report any unusual activity, property damage, or maintenance needs within the location.

+ Communicate clearly and professionally with property management, tenants, and Allied Universal staff as needed.

+ Complete required documentation and incident reports accurately and in a timely manner.

+ Remain alert and aware of surroundings while on patrol to help to deter unwanted activity and support a secure environment.

What We’re Looking For:

+ Availability across various days and shifts

+ Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments

+ A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company

+ Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available

Minimum Requirements:

+ Must be at least 21 years of age.

+ Customer service experience is preferred.

+ A valid driver’s license with Class B and Passenger Endorsement is required for driving positions only.

+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

+ A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
