We're seeking an enthusiasticConstruction Internto support our project managers with tasks like estimating, coordinating logistics, and preparing material quotes. If you're currently pursuing a degree in construction management or civil engineering and are ready to grow, we’d love to meet you!

Things You’ll Do

+ Assist project managers to plan and review quantity takeoffs, set up project estimates, field measurement for budgeting and billing, pick-up plans, and specifications, as well as traffic control Computer Aided Design (CAD) drawings.

+ Assist with daily business duties, including, preparing material price quotes, sampling and preparing submittal information for projects, coordinating logistics with customer orders, perform Viewpoint data entry.

+ Input job data into estimating software.

+ Learn about the construction industry through assisting managers.

+ Track supply quantities for billing purposes.

Pay: $20/hr+ DOE

Requirements

+ High School diploma or equivalent.

+ Currently enrolled in Bachelor of Science degree program studying Construction management or Civil Engineering.

+ Intermediate knowledge of construction industry.

+ Good public relations and communication skills.

+ Good organizational skills.

+ Ability to work under pressure, deal with budgets, and tight project schedules.
