Jamie Benway with Robert Half is looking for an experienced Senior Accountant to join our team in Vancouver, Washington. This role is integral to ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of financial processes, including managing the general ledger and overseeing month-end close procedures. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting and a proven ability to thrive in a dynamic work environment.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and oversee month-end close processes to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.

• Maintain and reconcile the general ledger, ensuring all entries comply with accounting standards.

• Prepare and analyze financial statements to support decision-making and regulatory compliance.

• Collaborate with internal teams to streamline accounting processes and improve efficiency.

• Monitor and enforce internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure compliance.

• Assist in audits by providing necessary documentation and responding to inquiries.

• Support budgeting and forecasting efforts by providing detailed financial analyses.

• Research and resolve discrepancies in financial data to maintain accuracy.

• Ensure compliance with relevant accounting policies and regulations.

• Provide guidance and mentorship to less experienced accounting staff as needed.

Salary Range: $90,000 - $100,000

Requirements • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting, preferably in a senior role.

• Proficiency in month-end close processes and general ledger management.

• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and regulations.

• Advanced skills in financial analysis and reporting.

• Experience with accounting software and systems.

• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.

• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
