    CRST Capacity Solutions

    CRST’s Capacity Solutions team strives every day to deliver reliable, efficient solutions with competitive rates, customer-focused service and advanced tracking systems. From long-haul and drayage to short-haul and time-sensitive freight – augmented by a North American carrier network and power-only capabilities – we work relentlessly to ensure freight moves fast, even during surges or unexpected hurdles.

    The Role

    The Account Manager I oversees customer freight coordination and engagement to ensure service excellence and operational accuracy. This role drives business growth by building strategic relationships, analyzing performance data and identifying enterprise-wide opportunities.

     

    **Shift:** Mon - Fri 9 am - 6 pm. Schedule may vary at the beginning for training and onboarding.

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities: 

    + Freight Coordination – Manage all aspects of customer freight by understanding shipping needs and service expectations

    + Relationship Management – Build and maintain long-term partnerships with customers to support business growth

    + Performance Tracking – Monitor and reconcile customer scorecards to ensure service alignment and operational accuracy

    + Customer Engagement – Communicate consistently with customers to identify and pursue appropriate freight opportunities

    + Data Analysis – Interpret customer data and trends to inform strategic decisions and service improvements

    + Pricing Strategy – Provide spot quotes for ad hoc freight requests to meet customer needs and market conditions

    + Business Development – Identify and pursue growth opportunities across the entire CRST Enterprise to expand customer value

    + Carrier Sales - Communicate with carriers in our network to cover freight

    + Accountability & Reliability – Maintain regular and reliable attendance while performing other duties as assigned to support team and business needs

    Required Qualifications:

    + High School Diploma or GED

    + Customer Service Experience

    Preferred Qualifications:

    + Transportation Experience but not necessary
