Job Title: Power Plant Equipment Operator
Type: Contract to Hire
Schedule: Rotating 24/7 shifts
Job Overview
Start your career in industrial operations! You’ll operate heavy equipment and assist with basic maintenance at a coal-fired power plant. This entry-level role includes training and hands-on experience in a safety-focused, environmentally responsible facility.
Key Responsibilities
+ Operate mobile and stationary heavy equipment (dozers, haul trucks, conveyors, etc.)
+ Monitor plant systems and respond to alarms
+ Assist with inspections and routine maintenance
+ Follow safety procedures and wear required PPE
Requirements
+ Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in various weather conditions
+ Willingness to work rotating shifts, including nights and weekends
+ Strong teamwork and reliability
+ Mechanical aptitude a plus

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr.
