Job Title: Heavy Equipment Mechanic

Job Description

The Service Technician will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing both electrical and mechanical issues in heavy equipment. This role involves facilitating inspections and repairs to ensure optimal functioning.

Responsibilities

+ Diagnose and repair electrical and mechanical issues in heavy equipment.

+ Conduct inspections and repairs on Link-Belt Excavators, Sakai, Gorman-Rupp Pumps, New Holland, and Takeuchi equipment.

+ Perform preventive maintenance and troubleshooting to ensure equipment reliability.

+ Utilize schematics, blueprints, hand tools, power tools, pneumatics, hydraulics, and wiring for service tasks.

Essential Skills

+ Expertise in heavy equipment and diesel engine repair.

+ Proficiency in electrical and mechanical troubleshooting.

+ Experience in preventive maintenance, assembly, and repair.

+ Knowledge of construction and field service operations.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Possession of relevant certificates in the field is a plus.

+ Familiarity with schematics, blueprints, and various tools.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $32.00/hr.
