Job Description

Under general supervision, this position is responsible for the preparation of foods according to prescribed menus and recipes

Responsibilities

+ Prepare food according to prescribed menus and recipes.

+ Conduct taste and temperature tests for each meal.

+ Perform quality control, checking all fresh and prepared foods and storage methods.

+ Clean and sanitize all food areas and preparation equipment, ensuring safe and operable conditions.

Essential Skills

+ High School diploma or equivalent.

+ Basic familiarity with kitchen and food handling processes and procedures.

+ Line Cook experience in a restaurant or cafeteria environment.

+ Customer-focused approach.

+ Ability to maintain the flow of work.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Culinary training is desirable.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Palmdale, California.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $23.00/hr.
