    Responsibilities

    We are seeking an experienced and results-driven **Director of Business Development** to lead the strategic acquisition and growth of large-scale clients who require integrated security solutions. This role is key to expanding our portfolio of enterprise clients. The Director will oversee the entire client journey, from acquisition through smooth transition and integration, ensuring high levels of client satisfaction and exceptional delivery by M.C. Dean. A particular focus will be placed on our developing product solutions, which are critical for clients with complex, large-scale integrated security systems that demand ongoing optimization, support, and scalable solutions.

    Key Responsibilities:

    + Lead efforts to acquire new enterprise clients. Target clients with a deep need for integrated security systems (e.g., video surveillance, access control, intrusion detection) and products that traditional integrators or OEMs cannot fully address.

    + Manage structured collaboration and seamless transition of new clients to operational teams, ensuring effective implementation of integrated security solutions. Work closely with both sales and operational teams to provide ongoing support during the transition and optimize system performance.

    + Maintain strong, ongoing engagement with clients throughout the transition phase to ensure their satisfaction. Foster long-term relationships by continually affirming client needs are met and staying involved with operations teams to ensure optimal service delivery.

    + Identify and execute opportunities to expand services within existing clients. This includes introducing new capabilities (e.g., system monitoring, cybersecurity, advanced analytics).

    + Drive the adoption and growth of managed services across the client base. Focus on improving client productivity through ongoing system optimization, remote monitoring, maintenance, and troubleshooting, all of which help clients scale and operate their security systems efficiently within complex environments.

    + Play a key leadership role in enabling the company’s broader growth strategy by driving the acquisition, retention, and expansion of enterprise clients. Work closely with senior leadership to align client-focused strategies with the organization's overall business objectives.

    + Leverage managed services to help clients improve the productivity and efficiency of their integrated security systems. Ensure that solutions evolve alongside the client's business needs, especially as they scale across multiple sites or operational environments.

    + Collaborate with leadership to evolve the sales lifecycle processes and tools needed to improve the effectiveness and expand our significant enterprise client engagements.

    Qualifications

    **Clearance/Citizen Type:** No clearance needed

    Experience:

    + 15+ years’ experience in products and business development

    + Proven experience in enterprise client acquisition and relationship management, particularly within industries requiring integrated security systems (e.g., video surveillance, access control, fire alarms, and IoT-enabled security).

    + Strong expertise in managed services, including the ability to deliver ongoing support, optimization, and maintenance for complex, large-scale security systems.

    + Demonstrated ability to acquire, manage, and grow commercial accounts, with clear experience in meeting ambitious client acquisition targets (e.g., 2 new clients in 2025, 4 in 2026, and 6 in 2027).

    + Excellent project management skills, with the ability to oversee smooth transitions of new clients from sales to operational teams, ensuring that the integration of security systems is successful and supported throughout the lifecycle.

    + Ability to develop and execute strategic plans that drive client satisfaction, service expansion, and organizational growth.

    + Strong communication, negotiation, and problem-solving abilities, with a deep understanding of client needs in large-scale operational environments.

    + A proven track record in leading cross-functional teams to deliver customized, scalable solutions for complex client environments.

    + Experience working in the security, technology, or related industries, with a focus on integrated systems and managed services.
