Position Overview:
The Epic AI Implementation & Validation Architect sets the strategy and leads the design, engineering, implementation, and validation of Epic’s predictive and generative AI products across Sutter Health. The person in this role brings a deep understanding of Epic data models (Chronicles, Clarity, Caboodle) and Epic workflow tooling to deliver safe, reliable, and value-positive AI in production. This role interprets architecture requirements, evaluates Epic AI features, guides selection and integration, and standardizes the infrastructure, and SDLC practices needed to scale. The role will partner with the existing Epic teams to implement workflows. And coordinate across informatics, clinical leadership, and operations to align use cases, stand up robust evaluation and monitoring, and deliver finished solutions.

_Equivalent experience will be accepted in lieu of the required degree or diploma._
+ Bachelor's: Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
TYPICAL EXPERIENCE:
+ 8 years of recent relevant experience.
SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE:
+ Advanced knowledge in formulating state-of-the-art enterprise strategic architecture framework plans.
+ Advanced knowledge in the engineering, implementation, operation, maintenance, and support of a wide range of server and storage platforms.
+ Expert knowledge of visualization technologies.
+ Set priorities which accurately reflect the relative importance of job responsibilities and prioritize assignments to complete work in a timely manner.
+ Analyze information, problems, situations, practices, or procedures in order to identify patterns, tendencies, and relationships resulting in the formulation of logical and objective conclusions.
+ Establish and maintain cooperative working relationships with audiences across all areas and levels within Sutter Health as well as external organizations.
+ Verbal and writing skills to effectively communicate with diverse groups such as: executives, managers, and subject matter experts.
+ Skilled in developing documentation at a technical and user level.

Pay Range is $76.79 to $115.19 / hour
_The salary range for this role may vary above or below the posted range as determined by location. This range has not been adjusted for any specific geographic differential applicable by area where the position may be filled. Compensation takes into account several factors including but not limited to a candidate’s experience, education, skills, licensure and certifications, department equity, training and organizational needs. Base pay is just one piece of the total rewards program offered by Sutter Health. Eligible roles also qualify for a comprehensive benefits package._ __
