Job Summary

The Auburn Applied Research Institute, located in Huntsville, Alabama, is seeking a motivated and versatile student assistant to help with various tasks associated with our summer events. This position will be full-time for the summer term only.

Essential Functions

+ Preparing and executing event setups. Ensuring venues are clean, organized, and equipped with the required furniture, and equipment according to event plans.

+ Must be able to lift and move banquet tables as needed.

+ Job requires walking, reaching, climbing or balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching and crawling.

+ Coordination of conference marketing materials, exhibit coordination and week of support for Space and Missile Defense Symposium (must be available on site for conference August 4-7, 2025).

+ Perform general office duties, such as responding to emails and helping prepare materials for events or campaigns.

+ Work with website designers to update information on the website forARI .

Minimum Qualifications

+ Currently enrolled as an Auburn University undergraduate student.

**Expectations** :

+ Must provide excellent customer service.

+ Due to access to restricted areas in the Applied Research Institute, all applicants must have high levels of integrity and professionalism and be a US Citizen.

+ Must have housing in Huntsville, Alabama.

+ Must maintain a neat and professional appearance.

+ Must be a team player and willing to help where needed with any project that comes up.
