Job Summary

Auburn University Facilities Management is seeking a dependable and energetic **Service Support Technician** to help keep our campus running smoothly and looking its best. In this hands-on role, you’ll be responsible for moving furniture and fixtures across campus using trucks, hand trucks, forklifts, and hydraulic lifts. You’ll also perform tasks such as window washing and pressure washing to maintain a clean and welcoming environment. Additionally, you’ll play a key role in supporting campus events by assisting with setup, takedown, and managing the overall logistics—helping each event feel seamless for both hosts and guests.

Essential Functions

+ Moves furniture and fixtures using trucks, hand trucks, forklifts, and hydraulic lifts.

+ Picks up and delivers custodial materials and supplies.

+ Performs work such as window washing and pressure washing.

+ Assists with setup, take apart, and logistic support (e.g. tents) for special events.

+ Pulls and backs trailers as needed.

**Level I:** Ability to read and write.

**Level II:** Ability to read and write plus 2 years of experience in special event support.
