**Schedule:** **4/10s** – Sunday through Wednesday

_(Weekend and holiday rotation required)_

**Pay:** $20.00 - $24.00 / hour

**This pay band is a starting point and is dependent on experience and advancement through our leveling system** .

At BluePearl Pet Hospital, the role Pharmacy Technician is to fill prescriptions for patients, maintain pharmacy inventory, and maintain proper allocation of all pharmaceutical drugs within the hospital.

As a Pharmacy Technician, you will:

+ Maintain a safe and clean pharmacy by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.

+ Maintain pharmacy inventory

+ Check pharmaceutical stock to determine inventory level

+ Anticipate needs for medications and supplies

+ Verify receipts

+ Remove/return outdated drugs

+ Maintain and fulfill controlled substance cabinets

+ Fill prescriptions for hospitalized patients and outpatients

+ Maintain and fulfill stocking of medical supplies in designated locations from Central Supply

+ Research and remain up to date with Pharmacy Regulations for Veterinarians

+ Complete any additional tasks not specified and/or assignments as request by the Department Manager
