    Description

    This role will specialize in cable and wire harness manufacturing.

     

    Responsibilities & Duties

     

    + Design, implement and streamline manufacturing processes, equipment, and procedures as it relates to cable and harness manufacturing

    + Assist with continuous improvement 6-Sigma activities

    + Assist in plant layout changes to improve flow and minimize waste

    + Apply advanced knowledge of standard concepts, practices, and procedures within the mechanical engineering/design field

    + Rely on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals

    + Wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected

    + May lead and direct the work of others

    Requirements

    Minimum Requirements:

    + Bachelor's degree in engineering plus minimum of 6 years of cable and wire harness manufacturing support

    + IPC certified a plus
