    Pay Range: $45-55/hour

    The Place: The Oshman Family Jewish Community Center (OFJCC) is an exciting and innovative non-profit organization in the heart of Silicon Valley.     The Classes:  The OFJCC is seeking group fitness instructors who are currently certified to teach Barre Sculpt classes on Mondays and Wednesdays at 9:30 AM.

    The Core Duties:

    + Create and deliver new, fresh and innovative Barre Sculpt classes

    + Stay up to date on current fitness and class trends in area(s) of expertise

    + Provide a safe, fun and motivating class to all participants

    + Provide appropriate modifications and progressions for a wide range of fitness levels;

    + Provide excellent and courteous customer service to members;

    + Communicate with Group Exercise Manager on member feedback, equipment needs and operational status, scheduling, and subbing.

    The Essentials:

    + Current Barre or Barre Sculpt certification

    + Current nationally recognized Group Exercise certification preferred

    + Prior experience teaching Group Exercise classes

    + Confident in your professionalism and a passion to motivate others

    + Current CPR/AED certification

    + Working knowledge of human anatomy, kinesiology and training principals

    + Knowledge of group fitness teaching strategies and the incorporations of music, tempo, cueing technique, and rhythm
