    Role Overview

     

    The Retail Insurance Analyst supports the Relationship Management team in delivering a seamless client experience across investment strategy, servicing, and business development. This role is ideal for a motivated individual seeking to build a career in institutional relationship management with a focus on insurance clients.

    Key Responsibilities

    + Assist senior Relationship Managers in executing account plans and servicing insurance clients.

    + Support Senior Relationship Managers with ongoing business development, client service, and communication with clients and prospects.

    + Coordinate day-to-day delivery of BlackRock’s investment and advisory services, including:

    + Client reporting and portfolio reviews

    + Ad hoc data and strategy requests

    + Compliance monitoring and documentation

    + Support business development efforts by:

    + Preparing pitch materials, RFPs, and client engagement decks

    + Tracking pipeline activity and updating CRM systems

    + Collaborating with internal teams on onboarding and implementation

    + Develop a strong understanding of insurance company dynamics, including:

    + Product structures and distribution models

    + Regulatory and accounting frameworks

    + Strategic priorities and sensitivities

    + Support business development team on product campaign management and tracking with a detailed focus on pipeline organization on BlackRock’s CRM

    + Gather critical data to quickly respond orally and in writing to internal and external stakeholder requests.

    + Build relationships with key internal stakeholders across FIG, Retirement, Legal, and Client Experience teams to ensure coordinated client delivery.

    Qualifications

    + Bachelor’s degree required.

    + Has or is willing to obtain the Series 7, 63, and 3 licenses.

    + Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.

    + Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.

    + High proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM platforms.

    + Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills.

    + Demonstrated interest in institutional relationship management and insurance markets.

    + Strong interpersonal skills to establish credibility with key stakeholders.

    + Collaborative approach to a team-based sales and service model.

     

    For New York, NY Only the salary range for this position is USD$85,500.00 - USD$105,000.00 . Additionally, employees are eligible for an annual discretionary bonus, and benefits including healthcare, leave benefits, and retirement benefits. BlackRock operates a pay-for-performance compensation philosophy and your total compensation may vary based on role, location, and firm, department and individual performance.
