This Opportunity
WSP USA is initiating a search for a dynamic leader to serve as its Navy Environmental Program Lead that may operate out of any mutually agreed office in the USA. This is a growth-focused role that is part of the E&E Sector Program. The Navy Environmental Program Lead is a high-visibility role that encompasses strategy, business development, account management, oversight of project delivery, and client satisfaction. Key activities include leading and developing a team of national Key Environmental Account leaders, building relationships with Navy environmental Stakeholders and alliances with industry partners and peers, amplifying the company’s brand in the marketplace, participating in strategic sales, and recruiting market-best talent. The position will collaborate significantly with US operational leadership and our broader Federal Business Line to implement regional strategies and initiatives, with an emphasis on client planning, industry knowledge sharing, and support for market development and sales. The Navy Environmental Program Lead will report directly to E&E’s Federal Sector leader and is expected to work with leaders across WSP’s Business Lines, including WSP's Federal Programs' Director of Navy Programs of all WSP USA, for organic growth of the entire US business.
Your Impact
+ Represent WSP to the client with a positive, relationship-oriented, solutions-delivery approach by leveraging the depth and breadth of our environmental capabilities
+ Expand the relationship base with key Navy decision-makers
+ Identify and drive strategic opportunities for sales and revenue growth
+ Coordinate and lead the development of pursuits for new contracts, to include development of capture plans
+ Lead or assist in the preparation of major proposals and/or task order bids
+ Foster relationships with partners, small businesses, and internal stakeholders to unlock collaborative opportunities
+ Maximize sales (Work Orders/ Task Orders) on existing Navy environmental contracts while working with WSP Account Leads and Program Managers
+ Interact with other federal accounts/programs as part of a cross-functional team (i.e., FEMA, other DoD agencies, EPA)
+ Instigate cross-business line teaming, coordination, cross-selling
+ Attend key conferences and client events to network and promote WSP brand
+ Function as a liaison between Navy representatives and internal teams during project execution to ensure client requirements are met and strong CPARS ratings are attained
+ Serve as Program Manager on select contracts
Who You Are
Required Qualifications
+ 15+ years of experience working directly with the U.S. Navy and other federal agencies with a strong understanding of US Federal Government contracting, proposal development, and industry business drivers for delivery of environmental services
+ Bachelor's Degree in a relevant technical field and/or business management (preferred)
+ Experience leading strategy and demonstrated experience in working with cross-functional teams and a variety of stakeholders, and in developing and executing strategies to deliver business results
+ Strong leader, able to inspire, motivate and build teams, and communicate effectively
+ Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively to build pipeline of project opportunities, lead client engagement planning, and lead pursuit teams to successful sales
+ Commitment to internal and external client service and broad knowledge of and experience with Navy environmental project delivery

Compensation
Expected Salary: $197,500- $331,320
WSP USA is providing the compensation range that the company in good faith believes it might pay and offer for this position, based on the successful applicant’s education, experience, knowledge, skills, abilities in addition to internal equity and specific geographic location. WSP USA reserves the right to ultimately pay more or less than the posted range and offer additional benefits and other compensation, depending on circumstances not related to an applicant’s sex or other status protected by local, state, and/or federal law.
