    Preferred Qualifications

    Role Purpose

     

    The Electroneurodiagnostic Technician II performs a variety of neurological testing including routine digital EEG, video EEG, electrocorticography, and evoked potentials. Assists with long term monitoring.

    Responsibilities

    + Performs neurological testing using a variety of methods including digital and video EEG, and processes results.

    + Validates physician orders and documents patient and family histories.

    + Integrates the findings of EEG and EEG video data into clinically meaningful interpretations.

    + Notifies supervisor or leader of any problems regarding equipment failure or maintenance needs.

    + May precept or train new technicians.

    Minimum Requirements

    Education

    + High School Diploma or GED

    Experience

    + 2-5 years

    Supervisor Experience

    + No Experience

    Licenses & Certifications

    + R. EEG T.

    + R.EP T.
