BJC HealthCare System is hiring a **PRN Radiology Tech** for **Barnes-Jewish Hospital**

Position Details:

+ PRN - Flexible Scheduling Monday – Friday for evening shift

+ Mallinckrodt Tower (General Diagnostic Department)

+ Samsung and Carestream portables equipment

+ Must be available to work 4 shifts per schedule period (6 weeks) to meet PRN Requirement

Qualifications:

+ Education: Associate degree or higher in a related field.

+ Certification: Registered Technologist in Radiography - R.T.(R). - Current or obtaining in the next 6 months

Experience:

+ **_ARRT registered_**

+ **_New grads, upcoming grads, and experienced Radiologic Technologists/MRI Technologists are encouraged to apply!!!!_**

+ Radiologic Technologist, x-ray technologist, x ray technologist

+ 2 year's experience as a radiologic technologist (preferred)

+ CPR certified

+ Able to work independently in the emergency room, performing portable exams or performing exams on in-house patients.

Preferred Qualifications

Role Purpose

The Radiology Technologist performs general imaging radiographic procedures to adult and/or pediatric patients for the purpose of diagnosis and/or treatment of anatomic and physiologic disorders

Responsibilities

+ Prepares patient and equipment for procedures. Informs patient on instructions and what the procedure entails with a high level of customer service and professionalism.

+ Performs radiographic imaging examinations independently, in on-call situations (if applicable), portable exams, and other tasks assigned by the department.
