Narrative:
Northeast Home Medical Equipment is a high-quality, nonprofit regional provider of medical equipment and home respiratory therapy services, accredited by CHAP. We have an opportunity for an experienced individual to help drive timely billing and collections. Primary responsibilities include:
1. Monitors billing and collection in progress status and hold reasons and facilitates timely resolutions. Works to reduce days to bill and to collect.
2. Reports to the Director and leadership team on key metrics to monitor outsourced billing provider and electronic medical vendor, and assists in identifying issues and trends.
3. Continually trains coworkers to resolve complex issues that arise related to held billing.
4. Develops new reports as needed. Builds scheduled reports for each team to ensure effective workflow.
5. Maintains electronic medical record table structures to maximize use of automated functionality across all departments. 6. Measure and monitor billing trends by department and assist management team to implement resolutions. 7. Maintain and monitor pricing tables and modifiers for all payers based on contractual changes.
8. Trains key users to manage high level functions and structure within the electronic medical record.
9. Lead electronical medical record physical inventory preparation that requires cleanup of a wide range of open items that could negatively affect inventory posting.
Requirements:
+ Associates degree and 5 years' experience in a related field or High School Diploma with several years' experience in a related field.

Pay range: $22.40-$35.84
Pay is based on experience, skills, and education. Exempt positions under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) will be paid within the base salary equivalent of the stated hourly rates. The pay range may also vary within the stated range based on location
