    Job Title: Bridge Superintendent Job Description

     

    We are seeking a skilled Bridge Superintendent to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist with estimating production rates, manpower, and equipment needs during the bidding process, develop and update project schedules, and manage project costs and assets effectively.

    Responsibilities

    + Assist Estimating with production rates, manpower needs, and equipment needs at the time of bid.

    + Develop, refine, and update the project schedule.

    + Possess complete knowledge and understanding of contract drawings and specifications.

    + Understand project costs and manage company assets.

    + Create and manage project documentation.

    + Coordinate project operations, including subcontractors and material vendors.

    + Provide leadership and maintain effective working relationships with on-site staff.

    + Enforce safety, quality, efficiency, and core values.

    + Develop daily crew lists and manage field activities to ensure the project completion date is met.

    + Lead weekly foreman meetings and develop two-week forecasts to proactively identify and solve potential issues.

    Essential Skills

    + 5+ years of Superintendent experience.

    + 2+ years of transportation superintendent experience.

    + Ability to build a schedule or part of the project schedule.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Experience in civil construction and transportation.

    + Expertise in construction management.

    Work Environment

    The role requires working closely with on-site staff and coordinating with subcontractors and material vendors. The superintendent will enforce safety, quality, and efficiency while maintaining core values. The work environment demands proactive planning and efficient field activity management to meet project deadlines.

     

    Job Type & Location

     

    This is a Permanent position based out of Hinckley, Ohio.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $85000.00 - $115000.00/yr.

     

    Company is ESOP and has good 401k plan. Full medical, dental, and vision insurance.

     

    Workplace Type

     

    This is a fully onsite position in Hinckley,OH.
