    Are you looking for a **hands-on** job where you get to utilize you skills in electronics and test to work as part of a multi-discipline team to deliver custom hardware & software solutions? Northrop Grumman Mission Systems (NGMS) is seeking an **Electronics Integration and Test Engineer (Lab Lead)** to support our growing engineering team in advanced technology development programs at our **Beavercreek, OH** site. (Dayton, OH)

     

    This position can be filled as a Principal Integration and Test Engineer or Sr. Principal Integration and Test Engineer

    What You'll Do:

    + Test and evaluation of custom subsystems utilizing oscilloscopes, VNAs, and spectrum analyzers

    + Soldering and rework of SMT devices

    + CCA test and repair

    + Hand assembly and test of custom chassis

    + Documentation of test plans

    + Test equipment automation using Python

    + Lab Management (coordinate equipment calibration, Shipping/Receiving, Manage lab ESD system)

    _Basic Qualifications for Principal Engineer - Integration and Test:_

    + Bachelor’s degree with 5 years of relevant experience; or a Master’s degree with 3 years of relevant experience; or a PhD with 0 years

    + An additional 4 years of relevant experience/education can be considered in lieu of a Bachelor's Degree.

    + Experience with testing, troubleshooting, and rework of electronic hardware.

    + Experience utilizing diagnostic equipment, including oscilloscope and signal generators.

    + Experience with implementation of lab operations (processes and procedures)

    + U.S. Citizen

    + **Clearance** : Ability to obtain and maintain the necessary US Government security clearance per customers’ requirements.

    _Basic Qualifications for Principal Engineer - Integration and Test:_

    + Bachelor’s degree with 8 years of relevant experience; or a Master’s degree with 6 years of relevant experience; or a PhD with 4 years

    + An additional 4 years of relevant experience/education can be considered in lieu of a Bachelor's Degree.

    + Experience with testing, troubleshooting, and rework of electronic hardware.

    + Experience utilizing diagnostic equipment, including oscilloscope and signal generators.

    + Experience with implementation of lab operations (processes and procedures)

    + U.S. Citizen

    + **Clearance** : Ability to obtain and maintain the necessary US Government security clearance per customers’ requirements.

    _Preferred Qualifications_** **_:_

    + RF Test experience

    + Experience with Component-level troubleshooting

    + Prior lab management experience

    + Active security clearance

    + Python test scripting and equipment automation

     

    Primary Level Salary Range: $82,900.00 - $124,300.00

     

    Secondary Level Salary Range: $103,200.00 - $154,800.00

     

    The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.

     

    Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
