    About the Role

    Amergis Educational Staffing is seeking dedicated and compassionate School Aides to provide 1:1 support for students with special needs in Pasadena. This role is ideal for individuals who are passionate about inclusive education and want to make a meaningful impact in a student’s daily learning experience.

    Responsibilities

    + Provide individualized support to students with special needs in classroom and school settings

    + Assist with academic tasks, behavior management, and social-emotional development

    + Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and school staff to implement IEP goals

    + Monitor and document student progress and behavior

    + Support students during transitions, meals, and recreational activities

    + Ensure a safe and supportive environment tailored to each student’s needs

    Qualifications

    + High school diploma or equivalent (required)

    + Experience working with children with special needs (preferred)

    + Patience, empathy, and strong interpersonal skills

    + Ability to follow individualized plans and adapt to changing needs

    + Basic computer and documentation skills

    + CPR/First Aid certification is a plus
